Environmental awareness is gaining more and more in importance, and it is bearing this in mind that the
Europoligrafico Group has defined its objectives and programmes in terms of environmental policy
management. The company fully complies with the current regulation on environmental matters
(ISO 14001 SMETA 4 Pillar/Eco Vadis).

Europoligrafico carries out systematic assessments on its performances with the aim of constantly
improving and better safeguarding the environment.

Commitment starts with clear business choices:
» Wasting as little natural and energy resources as possible;
» Using electricity from a renewable source and installing solar panels (see the site in Perugia);
» Meticulous separate waste collection;
» Rationing the use of raw materials by developing lighter packaging and reducing waste deriving from the
production process;
» Paying attention to new solutions with a lower environmental impact.

Europoligrafico commits to sustainable forest management in conformity with the FSC-CoC standard.

OUR ETHICAL CODE

The Europoligrafico Group, in accordance with Legislative Decree 231/2001, has chosen to adopt a Business
Ethical Code to formally define company commitments, principles and protocols in a clear and binding way for a
more transparent and effective organisation model.

Our Ethical Code contains the collective and individual behaviour to be observed by all those who operate
within the Group, in any capacity and with varying levels of commitment and responsibility. The key principles of
the Code are loyalty, honesty, seriousness, competence, transparency and business appropriateness.

HEALTH AND SAFETY IN THE WORKPLACE

A key feature of Europoligrafico’s organisational structure is compliance with Health and Safety
in the Workplace, in conformity with Legislative Decree 81/2008 and subsequent amendments,
and the SMETA 4 Pillar and EcoVadis schemes.

Finally, in compliance with ISO9001, the BRC/Iop Global Standard and the FDA on food safety
– considered to be not only reference regulations but also company policies –
